Jord Watches (and GIVEAWAY)

Happy Thursday, friends! We are almost to the weekend. I have been so bad at keeping up on my blog, but I am trying to get back into the groove. Like everyone, sometimes life gets a little bit crazy and I get behind schedule, but I am back and ready to share some exciting news!

Tonight, I wanted to elaborate a bit more about the watch I recently posted about on my Instagram (@kaydee.oldham) and I even have a little surprise for you (hint: it's a giveaway!).

I started following Jord Watches (pronounced like Yoda, minus the "a") about a year ago. I fell in love with their simplistic and minimalistic design because it really reflects my personal style. I've highlighted before on my love for watches and what stood out to me most about this company is how trendy yet affordable they are. I first came across their Instagram page (@jordwatches) when they showed up on my Instagram feed as a sponsored advertisement (ahhh… the power of target marketing). I was over the moon excited when I was asked to team up with them because I wanted to share my love of their watches with others. I was gifted the "Jord Wood Watch Fieldcrest in Maple" (pictured below), which I adore especially for summer outfits. I've paired it with denim overall shorts, rompers, and casual tank tops. I find that this watch beautifully captures a sweet, bohemian side to any outfit. Jord's bamboo watches are created by sanding strips of bamboo together then machining the bamboo boards into the links. I found this pretty neat since bamboo can be difficult to work with, but once the product is finished, the watch is sturdy and durable. The bamboo comes from South Asia and can grow to 100 feet.

As far as sizing goes, Jord makes it easy. I was told to measure my wrist in centimeters. To put this into perspective, my natural wrist size is 14 cm, but I ordered my watch in a 15 1/4 cm, so I wouldn't risk it being too snug. I would rather my watch be slightly on the larger side than smaller, but it actually fit exactly how I wanted it to. It moves just enough on my wrist for it to be comfortable.
